- Our focus on enhancing leadership: in our experience the major factor limiting the performance of SMEs and SMPs is leadership and leadership thinking. SMEs and SMPs are often started by "technicians having an entrepreneurial seizure" (as Michael Gerber would say). As they grow they struggle to move out of the technician approach. We transition SMEs and SMPs from technicians and managers to leaders and entrepreneurs.
- Our ability to synthesise best practice ideas and our experience and develop fresh insights into the issues and challenges our clients face.
- Our clients: we choose our clients carefully as success can only be achieved in partnership with our clients - it is a team effort. Our clients must be ready for success. Some years ago there was an interview with a champion NBA basketballer where the interviewer asked about success at top level basketball. The basketballer's response was that you need to ask two key questions of aspiring young basketballers.
We ask the same two questions of our clients:
- Do you want to be successful in your business?
- Are you prepared to do what is required to be successful in your business?
The answer to the first question is obvious however the second question filters out most people. Surprising as it may seem most businesses are not prepared to make the changes necessary to do what is required to be successful.
